Funding & Project Support
On a case-by-case basis, FSRA may provide funding to support projects or organizations that advance archaeological research and cultural preservation. For example, FSRA awarded a grant to the local Nisenan tribe to support stewardship and use of newly acquired lands, and provided funding to a graduate student to assist with anthropology thesis research.
FSRA has also supported site recording projects conducted in partnership with the U.S. Forest Service and the Bureau of Land Management.
